For our textiles project this term, we created some eco-tote bags suitable to use as Christmas gift bags.  We recycled old t-shirts by cutting off the arms and hemming the bottom using back stitch.  We then decorated felt bauble shapes using a variety of embroidery stitches before sewing them onto our bags.
