This half term, we have been looking at the drawings of British artist Ian Murphy. We have used his way of working to create our own images of parts of the school. We started by scrunching up white tissue paper and creating our own textured paper to work on. Our favourite part was sanding the top surface off of the paper to make it smooth enough to draw on! We then added some washes of acrylic paint to create a colourful background to draw over. Finally, we added our drawings of interesting features from our school building using black pen to help the line work to stand out.
