We had a great time at Attleborough Academy on Wednesday - Castaway Day is inspired by 'The Tempest' by Shakespeare and the elements earth, water, fire and air. Some of us made paper aeroplanes and parachutes - we thought about the forces that affect them which helped us with our designs. Some of us used drills and saws to design and make wooden boats. At the end of the day, we went onto the stage to show the children from other schools what we had been doing. We tested our parachutes by attaching water balloons and launching them off the stage - not a single one burst!
