Badger class took part in an online event to commemorate VE day.  We remembered what war was like for lots of different groups of people, like civilians, soldiers and evacuees.  We thought about what experiences each would have had and how they might have thought about the end o the war.  We looked at sources of evidence such as interviews, diaries, letters and photographs to find out about the 1945 VE day celebrations 'first hand'.  Finally, we wrote letters in role describing what it might have been like to have been there in 1945 and designed some commemorative plates.
