Fun with Andy Shepherd! 13:00 - 14:00 at Waterstones in Cambridge. Including a reading of Andy Shepherd's new book, The Boy Who Dreamed of Dragons, designing your own dragon and the chance to have Andy sign your books and have your picture taken with a six foot dragon tree!! It's too hot to miss! Ticket charge is £2 per child.

 

20 - 27 June

Independent Bookshop Week is part of the Books Are My Bag campaign and run by the Booksellers Association, and seeks to celebrate independent bookshops in the UK and Ireland.  They do this with events, celebrations, reading groups, storytelling, author signings, literary lunches and face painting!  Your local bookshop will have their own way of celebrating, and we encourage you to visit to celebrate with them.

 

23 - 27 June

Malory Towers is a musical of high jinks, high drama and high spirits based on the novels by Enid Blyton. This is a show for children and all of us grown up children who still dream of midnight feasts, pillow fights and headmistresses like Miss Grayling.  Norwich Theatre Royal

A whole host of colourful characters from Julia Donaldson and Axel Scheffler’s best-loved titles: Tiddler, Monkey PuzzleThe Smartest Giant in Town and A Squash and a Squeeze come to The Playhouse, Norwich in 'Tiddler and Other Terrific Tales'
