Hello Kingfisher Class! This term you have been reading ‘The Wild Robot’ by Peter Brown with Mrs Davidson and then myself. Unfortunately, we didn’t get a chance to find out what happens to Roz, Brightbill and all the other animals on the island. I thought it would be a good idea to finish this even though we are not together. I would love to know what you think of the story as you listen to it. Enjoy!
First was a drawing of Roz at the lodge fire and second was the following poem which he wrote all by himself.
After dark Winter,
Water was flowing along and the creatures were happy.
There were crowds of flowers everywhere,
Dazzling colours filled the fields.
The sun blooms yellow, the grass a rich green.
Bees are flying noisily
And insects fill the air.
I breathe and feel comfortable, like a pillow in your hand.
