Wednesday 23rd June

Today we did some wild storytelling.  To start off with, we went for a wander and collected some interesting found objects.  Then we had to decide what our found objects could be in a story (for example, we had stones that we decided were dragon's eyes, feathers that we though came from fairy wings and lots of magical plants).  Mrs Davidson started our story and then we all had to pitch in including our objects.  Our story was all about a small town who fell ill and needed a special plant to use as a medicine. They sent out their heroes on a quest to find some of the plant.  The heroes were helped along their way by a dragon, some fairies, a magical stone that could be used as a map, a leaf that gave them the power to fly and several magic wands.
