GEOGRAPHY: Contour Mountains

We have been looking at how contour lines on maps are used to show the relief and topography of the land that they represented.  We noticed that lines that are closer together show steeper ground than lines that are further apart.  We looked at some contour maps and made predictions about what we thought the land might look like before cutting them up and remaking the hills and mountains from layers of cardboard.
