DT: Making Soup
We have been designing and making our own seasonal spring soups. We started by tasting various different vegetable based soups and seeing what things we liked and what we didn't like. Some of us really surprised ourselves and found new foods we enjoyed. Tomato soup was the clear winner in our taste test. We all learned how to make a basic vegetable soup before investigating seasonal ingredients and adapting the recipe to incorporate these and make our own spring soup. Finally, we created our soups and tasted them. I think its fair to say that some were more successful than others!
