Kingfisher Class' Rainbow Challenge

To compliment the NHS rainbow campaign and to demonstrate how the blue light services and other agencies are working together, we're encouraging our children to display sunflowers in their windows. These can be drawn, painted, knitted, or created in any way you can think of.

When officers, out and about on patrol, see your sunflower displays, they'll post a packet of sunflower seeds through your door. You can then plant these and watch them grow over the coming weeks and months - with a beautiful sunflower to look forward to at the end.

Don't forget to grow your support by sharing your sunflower creations with us via email and on social media @norfolkpolice @hingham_sch

Welcome to Kingfisher Class!

We are a Year 2 class.  Our teachers are Mrs Davidson (Monday to Wednesday) and Miss Khanam (Thursday and Friday).  The other adults who help us are Mrs Cox and Miss Flowers.  We enjoy spending as much time as possible outside and getting hands on with our learning.

This week's recommended read:

From Volleyball to UFC, Darts to Formula 1 and Gymnastics to Table Tennis, there's something for everyone in this luxuriously large nonfiction compendium of all things sporty. Split into nine useful sections - ball sports, combat sports, water sports, motor sports, and so on - each sport is outlined in fascinating variety, from kit to rules and pitch diagrams to interesting facts about the game. For instance, did you know that the Titanic had a squash court on board? Or that ballet tutus are forbidden in rhythmic gymnastics?
