Spring Term 2019 and 2020 - James Campbell
In January 2019, the wonderfully entertaining James Campbell came to meet us for the first time. He spent time talking to all of our children about the joys of reading and writing and made us laugh lots! Afterwards, the children were inspired to write their own stories about all sorts of weird and wonderful characters like marmalade cows, clockwork bears and wild lollipop ladies...!

We loved having James Campbell visit us so much last year that we asked him back! This year he talked to us all about his new book 'The Funny Life of Teachers'. He also told us some of his favourite stories and poems. We had a great time creating our own stories with his character the Wimpety-wham at the heart of them.
