SPRING Term 2022:
HAPPY NEW YEAR!
Please find below a selection of videos and photographs, together with planning overview and an archive section at the bottom.
The children are learning about Castles and Once Upon a Time stories. They started the theme thinking that they would like to live in a castle but are gradually beginning to chnage their minds as they learn more about them! Please find below some photographs of some of the things that they have been doing in Reception. These will be added to regularly as we get more photographs!
OH MY GOODNESS! LOOK WHAT CAME TO VISIT OUR CLASSROOM LAST NIGHT WHILE WE WERE ALL ASLEEP!!!!
We have been making dens for hibernating animals!
This half term we have looked at Diwali and Guy Fawkes night and made some comparisons to Christmas. Now we have moved on to 'Winter Wonderland' where we are learning about animals in the Artic and Antartic. This has included painting, pictograms for our favourite Artic animals and trying to work out how to rescue animals that are stuck in blocks of ice. Please see below for the most recent photographs. Thank you.
At the end of the summer term.....we have been copying ice cream paintings of the American artist: Wayne Thiebaud.
Aren't they beautiful? We are very proud of them!
Seaside day brought to us! Sandcastles, paddling, ice lollies, bubbles and loads of fun!
We all had a wonderful Sports Day!
Please find below some videos that you can watch to revisit the sounds we are currently learning!
